Bonfire and Halloween Campaign #BangOutOfOrder
As Halloween and Bonfire Night approach, it is important that we all do our part to keep our communities safe and enjoyable for everyone.
The annual Bonfire and Halloween Campaign brings together a range of partners, including Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS), Greater Manchester Police (GMP), the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) and local councils, to prevent anti-social behaviour, criminal damage and other incidents that can occur during this busy time of year.
The campaign aims to educate young people about the risks associated with fireworks, bonfires and inappropriate Halloween behaviour, while encouraging everyone to celebrate responsibly and safely. Through awareness, education and community engagement, partners work together to help reduce preventable injuries, fires and anti-social behaviour across Greater Manchester.
There are a range of excellent educational resources available for schools, parents and young people. These resources can be used in assemblies, classroom discussions and wider personal development activities to help reinforce important safety messages.
