Counter Terrorism Awareness Training: Free Virtual Sessions for Schools and Education Professionals
Keeping children, staff and communities safe is a shared responsibility. To support schools and education settings in strengthening their understanding of current threats and safeguarding practices, Counter Terrorism Policing North West is delivering a series of free virtual ACT Awareness and SCaN (See, Check and Notify) training sessions throughout November.
These sessions provide practical guidance on recognising suspicious activity, understanding potential threats, and knowing how to respond appropriately. They are suitable for a range of professionals and can contribute to wider safeguarding and Prevent responsibilities within schools.
